Upperreach, Leeds

Renaissance Land purchased this 13 acre former dye-works site in 2005 and using group resources, carried out the associated demolition and soil remediation works.

We secured planning for 120 residential units and are currently in the process of building and marketing the units under our Zurich registered house building subsidiary company Airevale Homes.


Llanelli Gate, Carmarthenshire

Llanelli Gate is a joint venture between C A Blackwell and the Welsh Assembly Government. Renaissance Land manages this venture on behalf of C A Blackwell.

The joint venture team has brought forward the 46 acre site for development by the creation of development platforms and the provision of infrastructure. Along the way, we have dealt with issues such as shallow mine workings and flood mitigation measures.

Planning consents have been obtained for employment, hotel and public house end uses.


Station Road, Padiham

In partnership with Muller Property Holdings, Renaissance Land purchased this 5.5 acre derelict factory site and has carried out the associated demolition works.

A scheme has been prepared and a planning application submitted to the Local Planning Authority for residential use and a decision is expected during the last quarter of 2009.


Glyngwernen Farm, Dafen, Carmarthenshire

Renaissance Land is managing this site on behalf of C A Blackwell, who have owned the land since 1989.

This 15 acre parcel of low grade agricultural land and former quarry includes a number of disused farm buildings, houses and cottages. Renaissance Land is preparing a scheme to obtain planning consent to bring these back to habitable uses.


Former Gas Works, Frome

Renaissance Land has formed a joint venture with the current landowner of this former gas works site and they are in the process of bringing the site forward for redevelopment.

Renaissance Land is working on a number of other projects which are either at a very early stage or are subject to confidentiality issues and as such, it is not possible to publish details at present.
